children

The Bible tells us that children are a gift from the Lord and we give thanks for every little one we have the opportunity to serve. Your child’s safety, well-being, and spiritual nourishment are a top priority. We are grateful to walk with families for their children’s spiritual growth.

SUNDAY MORNING SCHEDULE

Nursery is available from 9-11:45am in the Education Building. We have professionally trained caregivers who serve our little ones in these classes. Our staff is background checked, CPR/First Aid certified, and safety trained for working with your children.

INFANTS

Our precious babies are welcome in the nursery from four weeks of age until they begin walking.

TODDLERS

Walkers through three years enjoy playtime in our toddler class. During the service a church volunteer leads the children in a Bible story and activity or craft. When children turn 3 and are potty trained they will be promoted to Preschool Sunday School.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Preschool children (age three and potty trained) and up may join a Sunday School class (9:00-9:45). There are classes for children through 5th grade.

(Older children are promoted to Youth).

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Preschool (3 and older and potty trained) and primary aged children can participate in Children’s Church during the sermon. Teachers will meet the children in the back of the church and walk to the Education Building after the Passing of Peace. During Children’s Church they will pray, sing songs, participate in a Bible lesson along with activities and crafts. Children will return to Worship just before Communion.

PARENT'S ROOM

Parents who need to care for their infants during the sermon may use Room 409 behind the dividers. Feeding and changing spaces are available and you can still hear the service.

SPECIAL NEEDS

If your child has special needs, please contact our Children's Director  Lore Mullins to make arrangements that best fit your child and family.

volunteer

If you are a member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, you can join us by

volunteering to teach or assist in various roles in on our Children’s Team.

Short term opportunities exist for those who would like to alternate

between teaching and participating in our adult class. This is a good way to

foster relationships between children, adults, and families in our church.

You are also invited to share God’s love with our babies and toddlers

during worship time.

Interested? Email Lore Mullins, our Children's Director for more details.
